Connect and Collect: An Evening of Sharing
Date: February 3, 2012
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Event Description
Join us as we begin our monthly women's programs!
Connect and Collect: An Evening of Sharing
Do you have clothes, shoes, jewelry, books, toys or household items that still have a lot of life left in them that you can pass on to someone else? Bring your gently used items to share with others and find treasures of your own.
Enjoy a fun game to meet other women in our community and learn about influential women in our lives.
Share your "haves" and "needs" with others. There will be a bulletin board available to share your skills, talents and resources with others or post a need you may have, whether it is for an exercise partner, a job or volunteers.
Light refreshments will be served.
The purpose of this program series is to provide educational, informative and entertaining programs for women about the issues faced by women in our community. The Women's Programs will meet monthly at the Human Rights Education Institute to discuss topics of interest to women in North Idaho. The programs will cover topics such as aging with grace and power, human trafficking, women's health issues, the portrayal of women in the media, financial literacy and many others. The programs are open to women of all ages in the community and are offered at the request of the community.
